Embracing The Flaws- In Life and In Painting

I started completely different style of painting. Honestly, there is no skills needed the way I have started painting and that’s what I really wanted to do.Skills can be learnt. Art is  about self expression in whatever way we feel. Musician play music, Dancer do different dance to express their self, writer writes and singer sings.

I paint and get messy. Not long ago, I used to paint animals but somewhere I knew, I want to express my art in more abstract way. I use to discard paintings if I make tiny mistakes but I have evolved and started embracing my flaws. Not just in painting but in life as well.

We need to embrace the flaws and stop being hard to ourselves. We can’t make everyone happy in our lives. Different people like different things. We need to think what is important to us and no matter what anyone says we should go with what we really want.

I really enjoy painting in this style. I can play with paints and other mediums to express what I feel without anything planned.

I call it Intuitive Paintings. I am being brave and embracing mess on the canvas. I used to be scared of blank canvas but now I am brave. Blank canvas doesn’t scare me.

I am learning to let go. I can’t explain in words, how it feels like? But Letting go and embracing flaws is really bringing positive change in myself.I am glad, art is my way of self expression and I chose to allow myself to let go and be with the flow.

I think everyone can paint, if they want to express themselves they can. All beings on earth is creative.  We all can be creative in different ways but we need to listen to ourselves and embrace the way we want to express our inner selves.I hear many times people saying, I can’t draw a stick man. Oh! you can, I always say if you really want to. Creativity is inside us, we just need to let it out and embrace it even with the flaws.
